Behind Empress are Anna Karenina, a Mexican designer with a passion for herbs and fermentation, and husband Christer Andersson, a multi-talented Norwegian with a systematic mindset and a perfect eye for flavor and contrast. Both passionate and well-traveled foodies, we wanted to create a new ways to experience flavor and Empress what drives us to exploring creative ways to so.
